THE INSTRUCTION OF WISDOM
Having the fear of the Lord teaches and provides wise instructions. Wisdom originates from God, and we get it from His Word.The instruction of wisdom has to do with learning skills and having the discipline to apply what has been learnt into our daily living. Disregarding the instructions of the Lord means one is not seeing things from God’s perspective. It is dishonouring Him and seen as being proud. Pride is a silent killer, which robs us of applying our hearts to the spiritual discipline of obeying God and submitting to His Word. We need to teach our children that being honoured is not automatic. They need to have a teachable spirit and learn to be humble. Humility comes before they can experience real glory, honour, and respect.

Great and greatly to be praised are You our blessed Father. We pray that Your reverent fear will be resident in the lives of our children. May they enjoy godly wisdom, knowledge, precepts, and principles. May their words, thoughts, and actions be guided by Your Word d decisions in their lifetime.
