THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST

BIBLE TEXT:
“The work of righteousness will be peace, And the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.” (Isaiah 32:17 NKJV)

THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST
Our children are not righteous by their own strength. They are made righteous through the workings of the Holy Spirit based on the death and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. They are called by a new name – ‘the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21)’, and does the ‘work of righteousness’ through the help of God’s Spirit. The effect of the ‘work of righteousness’  is enjoying the ‘perfect peace of God’. They have peace with their academics. In peace, they go out, and in peace, they come in. They have peace with God, they have the peace of God, and they are enjoying peace in God. They have peace at work and while doing their business. Another effect is that in Christ, they are enjoying total rest round about. They have rest of mind, they have rest for their souls, rest from trouble, rest from pains, rest from heavy burdens and rest from tiring yokes. Our children are safe in God because their confident trust in Him is greater than their challenges; it is also strong and eternal. In Christ, they find peace, quietness, and assurance of salvation forever.

Declarations & Prayers:
We give You all the glory and praise, our Most Glorious Father. We declare that our children are living for You, and may the love for You and the truth of Your Word be ingrained in them. Through the Blood of Jesus, we pray that they shall be purged of all filthiness, unrighteousness, unholiness, unworthiness, disobedience, and all unfaithfulness. We pray that with the help of Your Holy Spirit, they shall do works of righteousness, holiness, godliness, obedience, and faithfulness. May they reap the benefits of righteous living. May they continually live, walk, and work in peace. We remain thankful to You, our Mighty God, through Christ Jesus, our Lord, Amen.
