“In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, And His children will have a place of refuge. The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to turn one away from the snares of death” (Proverbs 14:26-27 NKJV)

THE FEAR OF GOD IS A FOUNTAIN OF LIFE
The fear of the Lord gives confidence, security and life. It helps us and especially our children, to depart from the snares of death. How can we be a refuge to our children? Who is our confidence as parents? Our Bible verses for today says, “in the fear of the Lord, there is strong confidence”. This means that when we reverently fear God, our confidence is strong in Him. When our children sees that we are calm and at peace during challenging times, it helps them build up strong attitudes in life. We become a refuge for them when we show them the way to life and peace in God through our own godly lifestyles.

Declarations & Prayers:
Glory be to God, our Everlasting Father, forever You reign gloriously. We declare that Your worshipful fear is in our children’s hearts. May they love and obey You more and more. May their confidence trust continually be in You. We see them growing stronger and are victorious in life’s challenges and trials. We pray that they will do great exploits for You, and they are secured in Your safe hands. We pray that they will experience true life in Christ Jesus. May their eyes be fixed on You, may their hearts be set on You, and may they experience Your perfect peace always. We declare that they shall continue to trust in Your everlasting strength. We remain thankful to You, our Mighty God, through Christ Jesus, our Lord, Amen.
